We all need to eat, but our food budget is where we seem to go first when wanting to save money.
In February our family of 6 is having a NO SPEND month. It's a month where you take a serious look a your families needs and wants. One are we are going to look at is our food budget.
Today I'm going to talk about BREAKFAST.
We normally buy the cheapest boxed cerals. Costs about $42.45 a month.
Instead we are going to use up what we have in our pantry, then buy Rolled Oats. So we can have either porridge or homemade museli for weekday breakfast. On the weekends we can have pancakes or egg on toast.
Hopefully we can lower the cost of ceral for the month.
